This cabinet was once richly furnished with tapestries and textiles, none of which have been preserved.

All that has remained of the room's original splendour at the time of Elector Max Emanuel are the blue dado panels with their silvered carving and the corresponding silvered stucco-work of Johann Baptist Zimmermann on the ceiling.
